Orrin Woodward & Chris Brady are men to be followed. I just got back from Columbus Ohio, where the TEAM Leadership held a Major Leadership Convention and launched a new business called LIFE. It’s late Sunday night and one would think after flying all day you’d be tired. Not this time!
The LIFE business is 10+ years of dreaming, planning and perfecting by the TEAM’s policy council and finally becoming reality. This is a whole new industry being created and I can say “I was there when we launched the LIFE business”.
November 1st, 2011 is the official opening date in the U.S. and here in Canada we are hoping it’s the same date or a few days later. LIFE’s product is: changed lives. LIFE educates any individual who is looking to improve in 8 different areas of their lives, we call it the 8F’s; Family Faith Finances Fitness Friends Freedom Following & Fun. Through an educational subscription of books, audios or seminars people can improve their lives in any of the F’s they prefer.
I love this story entitled “If I had only changed myself first”;
When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser and realized the world would not change I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country: but it too seemed immovable. As I grew into my twilight years I settled on changing only my family and those closest to me, but alas they would have none of it. Now as I lay on my deathbed and I suddenly realize that if I had only changed myself first, then by example I could perhaps have changed my family, and from their inspiration and encouragement to me I would have been better able to help my country and from there I may even have been able to change the world.
I find this story humbles everyone who reads it, we realize that life experience or wisdom is priceless. For example, I remember being a teenager and having disagreements with my parents, really believing that they weren’t comprehensive with me at all and I would get mad at them. But, fast forward 10 years, in my mid-twenties, I came to realize that those decisions my parents made were maybe not the “popular ones, but the “right” ones for my future. Therefore, in those 10 years, I gained “life experience” which helped me gain more wisdom and knowledge. This is just one example of how wisdom & life experiences are priceless, what if there was a way to help people gain wisdom faster??? ….wait, there is, it’s the LIFE business http://www.the-life-business.com or .ca in Canada.
On my personal development journey over the past 8 years, I’ve come to realize many things about myself and the human brain. We all need to continually be learning and changing, unfortunately many people think they have “arrived” and don’t need to learn & change anymore. They’ve almost given up on their life and are just going through the motions. The day we stop learning is the day we stop growing! The great thing about the LIFE business is that if you participate, you can be rewarded in 3 different ways; #1 you personally grow in the 8 Fs, #2 you help others grow in the 8Fs & #3 you are financially rewarded for helping people grow in the 8Fs.
